Departure from Delhi to Bhuntar

DAY 2

Bhuntar to Kasol

Duration - 1.5 Hours

The bus shall reach Bhuntar early in the morning,. Kasol is just 1.5 hours away from Bhuntar, and taxis & Govt. buses are easily available for the trip.

The day can be spent in exploring the breathtaking beauty of Kasol. Soak in the pure & fresh air, carrying a woody-minty aroma and the splendid view of the roaring Parvati river, with a backdrop of the Himalayan peaks. Enjoy a stroll on the long stretches of white sand along the banks of the Parvati river, and nature lovers would specially love the groves of apple trees spread throughout the area. Or visit local market and restaurants to enjoy local cuisines. As many foreign tourists especially the Israelis like to visit & stay at the adventure-friendly village of Kasol, restaurants here have started serving Israeli cuisines as well.

You can also visit the famous Manikaran Saheb - a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. The Hindus believe in the legend that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area. It has many temples of the Hindu deities Krishna, Rama and Vishnu and a gurudwara. The area is also famous for its hot springs offering natural cures for ailments, and its magnificent surrounding landscape.

There are several good options for camping, budget hotels and luxury hotels in Kasol. Make your pick, and stay overnight at Kasol. Take ample rest to recharge your body for the next day’s excursion.

Kasol to Tosh

Duration - 2 Hours

Tosh village is just an hour’s drive from Kasol. Taxi goes till a certain point from where one needs to walk inside the village. One of the most peaceful and quaint villages of the Parvati valley, Tosh village is a much-frequented destination for the backpackers from Israel, UK and Italy. One has to cross a wooden bridge to enter the charming village, and can enjoy a pleasant walk on a trail through apple fields and green pastures. Tosh is a nature-lover’s haven.

Tosh to Kutla

Trek to Kutla from Tosh begins the next day. Kutla is a beautiful village near Tosh with a very small population, with most villagers from the farming community. It’s an uphill trek among sparkling waterfalls, cliffs and pine trees, with snow covered Himalayan ranges in the background. Scenic beauty and serene atmospherics are the highlights of this trek.

Walk to Tosh from Kutla, from where taxis and Govt. buses for Bhuntar are easily available. Departure from Bhuntar for Delhi the same day, to reach Delhi the next morning. The Himalayan adventure concludes, and you are sure to return with some awesome memories and a rejuvenated self.
